Every job starts with a written scope and a fixed price. No day rates.

Main offer

AI setup

I set up Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Business, Claude Team or Gemini in Google Workspace (business editions), write a one-page AI use policy, build your automations, train your staff on your own work, and check back after 30 days. An automation is one repeated job your team does by hand, e.g. a site survey turned into a draft quote. Fixed price; timetable agreed in your scope.

  • Small£2,5001 automation, plus policy, training and the 30-day check
  • Standard£4,5003 automations, plus policy, training and the 30-day check
  • Bespokefrom £6,000Extra sites or on-premises AI. Scope and date agreed on the call

Software licences, any API usage and any automation-platform or hosting charges are extra, paid by you directly to the vendor. Your written scope lists them and their cost before you agree.

  • AI Quick-Start Audit

Half a day of interviews and a review of your tools and data, then a written plan with practical first steps and their costs. Fee credited to a setup booked within 30 days.

    £595 remote
    £795 on-site

Hands-on, built on your own documents and jobs, for up to 12 people.

Who it's for

Who I work with

  • Firms of 10 to 50 staff with nobody whose job is AI.
  • Typical jobs. Quotes, O&M manuals, job sheets, support tickets and reports, in trades like AV, security, fire, M&E and engineering.
  • Other sectors. If your team does the same paperwork every week, there may be an automation in it. The free call will tell you.

About

Noel Pope, engineer.

I'm a marine electro-technical officer and an AV, IT and network engineer. I set AI tools up the way an engineer would: tested, documented, and with clear rules for your data. You deal with me from the first call to handover.

A carse is the flat, fertile land along a Scottish river, like the Carse of Forth: good ground where things grow.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to put our data into AI tools?

It depends on the tool and the plan. I choose business plans that don't use your data for training by default, set the controls, and write simple rules for staff. Feedback you choose to send the vendor, and some connectors, can follow different rules; your scope covers this. On-premises AI (the model runs on your own hardware) is a bespoke option, not included in the Small or Standard price.

We've done a funded AI workshop. Is this the same?

Good start. Funded programmes offer advice and hands-on support, subject to their eligibility rules. I'm a fixed-price option you can book directly, on its own or alongside them.

Where and when do you work?

In person in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling on booked days; online anywhere in the UK. Emails answered within two working days. Your written scope says when fixes after handover are made.

Do we need technical staff?

No. Everything is explained in plain English, and you're left with written notes on how it all works.
